Location
The Radisson Blu Alcron Hotel is located just a few steps from the famous boulevard, Wenceslas Square, the commercial and social centre of modern Prague. Surrounded by historic buildings, shops and restaurants, the hotel is only a ten-minute walk to the historic Old Town Square, one of the major focal points of the city, and only a few minutes more to the well-known landmark, Charles Bridge.
For those seeking art and culture, our hotel is close to the major museums, galleries and theatres. The hotel concierge will gladly arrange tickets to the opera, theatre or ballet. If you prefer something less formal, there are numerous hour-long evening concerts that are held in several of Prague’s stunning churches and palaces.

This Art Deco hotel has been meticulously restored to its former glory under the watchful eye of renowned interior designer, Maria Vafiadis. Much of the interior is preserved, including the glittering chandeliers, the rich Italian marble and the creamy milk glass that can be seen throughout the hotel’s public areas. There are 206 exceptionally comfortable and inviting rooms and suites with high ceilings and classic period furnishings. Non-smoking rooms and rooms for our disabled guests are also available on request. Latest security features have been installed in every room including, smoke detectors, fire sprinkler system, an electronic lock system, as well as 24-hour security service.

The Golden City can also be admired as you meander down the Vltava River on a paddle-wheel steamboat tour during the day (drinks and dessert) or at night (drinks and dinner).
Cooking Classes
If you would like to go backstage and learn how to prepare delectable three-course meals, including tempting appetizers, unique seafood main courses, and delicious desserts, our cooking classes conducted by our Head Chef are perfect for you. The classes begin with a welcome drink at the Be Bop Bar, followed by a demonstration and practical cooking class. Sekt (Czech champagne) and non-alcoholic drinks are available during the class. The class concludes with a course dinner and wine tasting at the La Rotonde Restaurant.
Chef at home
If you want to make a memorable impression on your guests, or just enjoy a delicious meal at home without all the work, take advantage of our selection of gourmet dishes, prepared and packaged for you to take home and heat up. We have a variety of tempting Dishes To Go for you to choose from that will make a lasting impression on your family or business associates.
All you have to do is make your selection from our gourmet “take-away” menu at least one day in advance. Then pick up your prepared meal, which will be boxed and ready to go with step-by-step instructions for heating and final presentation.

La Rotande
The elegant and award-winning Art Deco restaurant, La Rotonde serves a delectable choice of international and traditional local dishes. Talented chefs create culinary delights to give you an unsurpassable dining experience. The lovely outdoor terrace offers informal dining during the summer months.
Every Sunday, we serve the popular Sunday Jazz Brunch where you can take a tempting tour of the world’s cuisines while enjoying the subtle swing of live Jazz music. (Not available from June 2 to August 31, 2008. The Brunch opens again on August 31, 2008).

The Alcron
An intimate restaurant with seating for only 24 people, the award-winning Alcron restaurant offers a delectable menu featuring seafood prepared with creativity and flair by one of the best chefs in Prague, Roman Paulus. The Alcron Restaurant received the Five Star Diamond Award consecutively from 2003 to 2006 from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences in New York.
From the gourmet cuisine to the splendid surroundings and gracious service, the Alcron promises a truly memorable evening.

Be Bop Bar
A popular place for gatherings, the chic Art Deco Be Bop Bar offers live jazz sessions by local musicians and has a very festive ambience.
The Be Bop Bar offers a wide selection of cocktails and a tempting snack menu every day, as well as frequent special promotions. The menu also features the Alcronies, popular cocktails that date back to 1932 when the hotel first opened.
