Hotel Metamorphis Excellent

The building of the hotel Metamorphis Excellent Old Town comes from the 1st half of the 14th century. The house was formerly known as „At seven candlesticks“ and the same time, it was called „At the red deer“. The whole complex is situated in the historical court yard – Ungelt, which is listed on the world UNESCO cultural herigate list.

Two names reflect the fact, that during the late Middle age period, two separate houses stood here. First during the Baroque, both houses have been joined together and created the nowadays object – house nr. 644 Hotel Metamorphis Excellent Old Town.

The whole houses is interweaved with renaissance arcades and portals. The most luxurious suites are decorated with hand-painted historical beams from the 17th century. The building has been completely reconstructed in 2008 into its nowadays state.

The luxurious hotel is situated right in the heart of the Old Town of Prague, very close to the Old Town Square.
