Appia Residence


The Appia Residences are located in the original historical buildings in the immediate vicinity of the Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and a whole range of significant historical sights. The residential suites are set into the picturesque quarter Lesser Side (Malá Strana) which is for its priceless historical value a highly treasured jewel and the most frequent destination of tourists from all over the world.

The Appia Residences are situated in a quiet zone with minimal traffic, in the immediate neighbourhood of the German and American Embassies.

The suites have recently undergone a costly, very favourable, architectonically sensitive reconstruction which succeeded not only in maintaining the authentic character of the houses in the Lesser Side (Malá Strana), but also in solving the problems with parking.

The residence offers 21 stylish furnished and above-standard equipped suites which are adjusted for both short and long-term stays. The residence provides accommodation in several types of suites from 32 to 170m2 with 1 – 5 large habitable rooms and spacious bedrooms, a part of each suite is a fully equipped kitchen corner or kitchenette.

Within the premises there is a reception, lobby, restaurant and a romantic garden in which breakfast is served in the summer months. The ancient restaurant and a multi-room suite decorated with original paintings can be used for smaller company, social or family events.

The ideal place for an outdoor relaxation is the nearby Petřín hill surrounded by large parks where you can find the famous Petřín Tower built after the fashion of the Paris Eiffel Tower and allowing an exclusive view of the Prague panorama, the historical and cultural jewel Strahov Monastery (Strahovský klášter) or for example a popular observatory.
